“The secret of change is to focus all of your energy not on fighting the old, but on building the new” -Socrates

There are a lot of things I can’t believe.

Covid-19 and the lives we lost RIP, that its been 4 months of stay-at-home, that I haven’t been into an office since January 31st, that our house sold in 5 days, that Andy doesn’t have to go back to nyc until March 2021, and that 4 years went by in a blink.

The last is what makes this move feel most right. These years have been wonderful, joyful, tough, and heavy all at the same time.

Life is short has always been my motto. Over the past few years, I’ve learned that not only is it short, but you can’t control a lot of it. So what is in my control, I will. And what is out of my control, I will make peace with.

I’m ready for a change even if just a temporary adventure. Back to life out of a storage unit. I’m proud of us. I’m excited for us!

Also as my dad told me many years ago, I have a pattern of making life changes every 3-4 years. He was right.

Ob la di, ob-la-da, life goes on, bra
La-la, how the life goes on
Ob-la di, ob-la-da, life goes on, bra
La-la, how the life goes on

In a couple of years they have built
A home sweet home…
