Hot Dogs & Dirt Bombs
"People who love to eat are always the best people."
Julia Child
The meals I won’t forget. And will go back for. BTW - I also cooked a lot. And I tried to be in the moment and not take a picture of everything I ate. Bummer.
In addition to the below - shout out to Snowy Owl Brewers, Macs Seafood (all locations), and Sunbird.
Have you heard of a dirt bomb? I hadn’t. It’s that cinnamon sugar goodness in the bottom left. Now you know. Orleans specialty. Puts every other muffin to shame. You can have the rest of the box.
I have a hot dog once a year and it’s usually grilled at my house or The Buck’s. We saw this stand, Deepwater Dogs in Brewster and I knew Andy wanted one. So I reluctantly agreed. I was the foolish one. THIS is why people love hot dogs.
Chicago - Primitive Dog - topped with dill pickle slice, chopped white onions, sweet relish and yellow mustard. I don’t need to eat another hot dog until I’m back on the Cape.
They guy who owned the stand was so chill.
